She graduated with an Associates Degree of Applied Science from Cedar Valley College in Dallas, TX and received her Registered Veterinary Technician Certificate in June 2004. She is so dedicated to our team she drove from Hughes Springs to Longview for about a year and half before finally moving closer to the clinic. Her positive attitude is highly contagious. Virginia enjoys all aspects of being a Registered Veterinary Technician. It is an ideal job where you learn something new every day, and the people you work with are diligent and enjoyable. She has always had a special love for horses and appreciates the opportunity to work with large animals. You can see that by the way she handles each patient as if they were her own. Virginia has been married to her husband, Chris, for 8 years, has recently had a beautiful baby girl named Julia, and she has a cat named Ebony. When she is not working or chasing around Baby "JuJu", she likes to sing, work out at the gym, and spend time with her family and friends. If you are lucky, you will catch Virginia singing a tune around the clinic. We benefit considerably by having Virginia as a part of our team. A seemingly stressful day can dissappear while working side by side with her infectious optimism. We only hope that she does not leave us for a major record deal! View
